'TRIP'TYCH
This triptych was created as part of my exploration of how experiences and perception shape our realities of the human experience. The human experience is a unique collective shared experience among our species, and despite this commonality among us, the clarity and reality of said human experience are subjective to an individual's perspective. Everyone is shaped by their life experiences, opinions, and even chemical makeup. Things like interpersonal relationships, achievements, trauma, economic status, geographic location, and religion impact us to our core. Despite these key differences, as humans, the barest of our human experience comes down to our senses. What we can touch, see, smell, feel, and taste. The feel of the sun on our hands, views of natural wonders, the smell of the forest after rain, and the faces of those close to us. Yet, these perspectives, opinions, and memories, are susceptible to distortion and manipulation. This can be the result of degradation over time, inability to distinguish dreams, outside influence, or technology.
These posters creatively explore these ideas and provide a more interactive experience for the user to view it from another perspective by blurring the lines between physical and digital work together though the incorporation of augmented reality AR via the application Artivive. 2021.
